Meet Our Instructors

 

All of our Instructors are ATA Legacy certified and have a combined experience of 48 years instructing.  They have many ways to make the rigorous study of Tae Kwon Do fun for the whole family.

 
 

Mr. Denton Kemerling

Qualifications

  • 4th Degree Black Belt
  • Certified Instructor, Board of Examiners
  • Former State Champion in numerous events

Mr. Kemerling has been training with the ATA since 1992 and has taught in multiple schools since 2000. Along with this knowledge Mr. Kemerling has experience in Brzilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Hopkido, and Krav-Maga.  Working closely with Arapahoe Sheriffs Department early in his training, he has training in Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) as well as S.H.A.R.P. (Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention).

Mr. Jonathan Brannon

Qualifications

  • 3rd Degree Black Belt
  • Legacy Certified Instructor
  • Former Junior Olympics Coach

Mr. Brannon has been practicing Tae Kwon Do since 1992. Holding a 1st degree rank in two styles of Taekwondo and a 3rd degree rank in the ATA, he has various Tae Kwon Do skillsets to offer.  Along with this knowledge Mr. Brannon has experience with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Krav-Maga, Hopkido, PPCT, and S.H.A.R.P.

Mrs. Kelsi Purcell

Qualifications

  • 3rd Degree Black Belt
  • Certified Instructor and Floor Judge
  • Marathon Training

Mrs. Purcell has been practicing Tae Kwon Do since 2001.  Holding a degree in personal health and nutrition, she adds a fit perspective to our program. Along with this knowledge Mrs. Purcell also has experience in Hopkido, PPCT, and S.H.A.R.P.
